Skeletons
The first picture was done in contour crayon. I tried to keep it realistic by doing research on all bones in the human body. I used white, brown and black. I feel that the neck ended up being to stiff. The bones are as proportional as possible. I worked very hard on this.
The second picture was done in acrylic paints. I added green to black and white paint. I am very proud of how this turned out. The reason I had them kissing is because you don’t know who they are. No one knows if they are black or white or male or female. They are just two skeletons. That’s what we are underneath our skin. I wanted to represent equality in this piece.
